SBC @ IBC: Silent Book Club – Richmond Chapter
January 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
We host Silent Book Club every 4th Sunday at 4:00 at Intermission Beer Company in Glen Allen. Everyone is welcome to join us – all ages – from anywhere in Central Virginia, or, if you’re visiting the area, feel free to drop in.
Silent Book Club is a wonderful way to make time to read. Once a month, we get together and … read. Yep! That’s it. There’s no assigned reading (Yea! No homework!). You read whatever you want to – books, magazines, cereal boxes.
The first 1/2 hour or so there’s the option to talk about what your are reading, and then, for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, we read. At last call (5:30), you may continue reading or mingle. Feel free to get something to eat or drink to be even more comfortable. Intermission offers Pizza & Snacks, Beer, Wine, Cider, and N/A offerings.
